well-established coarse fishing lake within the main grounds at Deer’s Glade
Fenced off for safety purposes, the lake has a number of fishing pegs placed sparingly around the lake to enjoy a peaceful fishing experience. For direct fishing access, choose a Lakeside Luxury Glamping Retreat with fishing peg included. Well-stocked with Carp, Tench, Perch, Bream, Roach, and Rudd, fishing is available to all of our onsite guests, however, a fishing licence is required and a daily or weekly permit fee is applicable. We also allow visitors to fish at our lake by day. Speak to reception for further information.
Night-time fishing is for guests only. Deer's Glade makes an ideal fishing holiday hot spot for making those first fishing memories with the children or for just a little fishing rest and recreation. Don’t forget to share your catch photos with us on our socials #deersgladefishing!

- All fish caught are strictly catch & return
- Maximum of two rods per person
- Only use barbless hooks
- No keep nets
- No cat food
- No stalking
- No boilies
- No knotted landing nets
- Only use the minimum amount of ground bait
- No rods to be left unattended
- No night fishing unless staying on-site
- No swimming in the lake
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
