What’s On at Easter in North Norfolk

With Easter being earlier this year, it’s a lovely time to visit North Norfolk to enjoy the first real signs that spring has arrived. Woodland paths brighten with fresh green growth, wildlife becomes more active, and longer days make it the perfect time to get outdoors. Whether you’re hunting for Easter eggs, exploring woodland trails or simply enjoying good food and family time, there’s plenty happening at Deer’s Glade and in the local area to make the holidays feel special.

At Deer’s Glade we’ll be marking the Easter holidays with a relaxed mix of seasonal activities across the park and nearby meadow. Whether you’re touring with your caravan, camping under the stars or enjoying a glamping stay, it’s a lovely time of year to be surrounded by the countryside.

Easter marks the beginning of the new season at Deer’s Glade. Flowers begin to appear across the park, the geese return to the lake, and the surrounding woodland slowly comes back to life after winter. Early mornings can be especially beautiful at this time of year, with mist drifting through the trees and deer spotted quietly moving across the glade.

Easter Activities at Deer’s Glade

Over the Easter weekend there will be several activities taking place around the park for guests to enjoy at their own pace.

Easter Egg hunts at Deer's Glade and locally in North Norfolk

Easter Egg Hunt – Easter Sunday (5th April)

Our Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Easter Sunday between 10am and 4pm. Around the park you’ll find laminated Easter egg shapes hidden in different locations, each displaying a letter. Collect them all, solve the word and return to reception to claim your chocolate Easter egg prize (‘free-from’ options available). Pick up your hunt sheet from reception for a small fee and explore the park as you search.

Woodland Scavenger Hunt – Muntjac Meadow

Just a short walk away, Muntjac Meadow will host a spring scavenger hunt through the woodland. Follow the trail, look out for clues and see what seasonal signs of nature you can spot along the way.

Arts & Crafts Tent

Near the play area, an arts and crafts tent will be open during the Easter holidays, where younger visitors can get creative. There will be a selection of Easter-inspired art activities along with the opportunity for children to free-style their artistic talents.

Easter Food Vendors

A selection of our popular food vendors will also be visiting during the Easter break, bringing plenty of delicious options to enjoy around the park. Look out for: Kerbside Kitchen – smashed burgers and loaded favourites; Broadside Pizza – freshly made wood-fired pizzas; and Gringos – bold Mexican flavours and street food. Food vendors are typically set up near the play area between 5-8pm, making it easy for families to relax while children enjoy the space around them.
