Sheringham Park, National Trust

Sheringham Park, National Trust

Sheringham Park is a landscape park and woodland gardens with miles of stunning coastal views.

The park was designed by the famous Humphry Repton in 1812. Spend a day here exploring the 1000 acres of varying habitats and see a vast collection of rhododendrons and azaleas, which are simply spectacular in springtime. Visit the Gazebo, a tower at treetop height from which you can gain 360° views to experience breathtaking views of this extraordinary landscape including parkland, woodland, and the North Norfolk coast. The kids will love exploring the Wild Garden and Bower Garden which features sensory borders, a pond and wildflower meadow along with den building and bug hunting areas. The park is open from dawn to dusk all year round. For food visit the Courtyard Cafe.
