Traditional glamping
If you fancy glamping with a traditional theme, our Shepherd's Hut could be the perfect accommodation. Traditionally used by shepherds watching their flock during lambing season, we have taken the original hut design and adapted the space to create a cosy comfortable glamping experience.
Situated alongside our Bell Tents, The Shepherd's Hut sleeps up to four. Enjoy the feeling of being close to nature, while still having some home comforts like a bed, TV, and kitchenette including a fridge, microwave, and kettle along with an electric wood burner heater for chillier evenings. Outside there is a picnic bench, fire pit, and cooking plinth to place a stove or barbecue. You’ll also have access to the shower and WC pod within the secluded glamping area for sole use by the Shepherd’s Hut and Bell Tent guests. The glamping area includes a separate parking area close to the accommodation.
NOTE: There is no bedding or towels supplied. Guests will need to bring their own, or please speak to reception where bedding can be hired prior to arrival. No kitchen equipment or crockery is supplied. Access to the hut is via three steps and therefore will not be suitable for people with limited mobility.

Yes, we do. We have five Luxury Glamping Retreats each with a hot tub. Two Mega Pods include wood-fired hot tubs. The Retreats include dressing gowns for use during your stay.
Luxury Glamping Retreats have their own parking. Bell Tents and the Shepherd’s Hut have an allocated car park area and so do the Mega and Standard Camping Pods.
The Mega Pods include a WC and wash basin only. There are shower and WC pods for the private use of our glamping guests. These are positioned at both the Bell Tents and the woodland Mega Pods. The Luxury Glamping Retreats include shower rooms.
The wood-fire hot tubs will be filled for your arrival. We light the first fire to keep the chimney clear and to begin the heating process. However, the fire will need stoking on arrival to get it fully up to temperature for use. As there are no chemicals added to this style of hot tub, the water needs to be changed depending on length or stay. Hot tub information will be available in your welcome pack, however, if anything is unclear please speak to reception.
We provide bedding and towels in the Luxury Glamping Retreats and Bell Tents.
These are also available for the Mega Pods at an additional cost of £30 a set. Please contact us before your stay at least a week before, to arrange. These can be added when booking. To add to a booking please call us on 01263 768633.
All glamping accommodation sleeps 4 people.
The Luxury Glamping Retreats include a toaster, kettle, fridge, and microwave, standard utensils, cutlery, and crockery, salt and pepper, milk, tea, and coffee, basic washing up equipment, travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, and 2 toilet rolls.
